After years of sewing in her living room and storing ceiling-high piles of fabric in her basement, Jessi Sader opened Studio in downtown Orono, Maine. Part boutique, part work space, this one-of-a-kind retail destination is where Sader transforms the softest fabrics into breezy, casual dresses, tops, sweaters and accessories.

In addition to carrying Sader's entire FXDressed line, Studio also offers a small, well-edited selection of vintage apparel and funky handcrafted items by artisans from Maine and beyond. Sader is a passionate advocate for buying local, and everything in Studio is made in the U.S.A. Because she makes everything on site, she encourages patrons to take one of her designs and make it their own — Studio truly puts the "custom" in customer.
