Maine-based designer Jessi Sader draws her inspiration from the antique and vintage textiles that surround her. Since she was a girl, Sader has loved combing the racks of thrift shops, scavenging the attic for funky clothing from a bygone era, and sifting through tins of vintage buttons.

"I'm kind of obsessed with old things in my life — old friends, old furniture, history," Sader says. "I prefer the simplicity of past generations to the hustle and bustle of today. And the craftsmanship of vintage things is incredible."

For her label FXDressed, Sader takes the simplicity, tactile appeal and quality of vintage goods and reimagines them for modern living. The result is romantic, playful, and infinitely wearable.
